COFFEE Lovers Vision

To all,

Below is what I have been called to do in this community (Etters / Lewisberry areas.) To share the Love God has given me, serving those who enter into my life through this Coffee House Ministry. Yes I believe this is a Ministry, and a business, but a Ministry to the fullest extent; a career, offering my services to the community, building friendships, helping, talking, and nurturing  the local community.

As you read this try to get an idea of what the desire of your heart is; mine is people. I like to talk, encourage, pray for, and serve others. Service has been instilled in my heart. "Faith with out works does not show a thing to those around us." I certainly am not bragging.

I have been given many gifts such as; Craftsmanship, Leadership, Encouragement, and Intercessory Prayer. I want to be used by God, for God, to share with others, the blessings He has given to me. I am not rich with money but am rich with the many blessings that I have been given and touched with.

I can and will talk to any one who wants to learn what God has done in my life. I can look back and see that God has carried me through many events that were not good; I was not faithful, but He was, and still is. He has brought me to this point of where I am today, and I THANK God for HIS faithfulness to me.

Read and think of how a Christian Coffee House can be used in this community. If you think a place like this is a good; pray for it, share this idea with others, and let me know how and what you can do to help C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers open again.

MISSION STATEMENT OF C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers

A community, offering an enjoyable, friendly atmosphere. Enlightening the guests of “C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers,” with the Faith God, has given to, each of us. Speaking with,  service, actions, and sometimes……..Words. “C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers” too, will offer the best coffee beverage, and lite fare, served with a touch of Love.

Community - A body of people.
Offering - Giving to others, of time and/or talents.
Faith - Being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Friendliness - Sharing your life, loving others with caring, compassion and kindness.
Enlightenment - Sharing with others, your knowledge and ideas.
Enjoyment - Provisions from God, for your pleasure.

A Church without Walls

• Open to all people, encouraging them to bring friends and family, to see, feel and enjoy a “Christian Atmosphere.”
• Serving all guests with respect and love.
• Letting the atmosphere, of C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers, “minister” to the guest. 

As a Christian I am here to serve all who enter C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers, I am not to judge. "Do unto others just as you would want them to do unto you.”  My passion is people, I enjoy talking to everyone, encouraging, and serving each and every customer; creating with craftsmanship, a beverage, food, or pastry, and presenting it with a smile, and "thank you." It is the least I can do to share what talents God has blessed me with. "Minister to the heart and the soul will follow." DM

A Haven for the Community

• A quiet place to get-a-way, from “the pressures of the world.”
• Having a “Youth Night” inviting local youth groups.
• Having “Live” entertainment Fridays and Saturdays.
• Allowing Bible Studies to meet and discuss, in an open environment.
• Connecting with the community, giving support when and where needed.
• Employing community people, who want to serve, love, and show their talents.

This is a calling from God; for me to establish a place where all can come relax, converse, read, and enjoy what is offered with the atmosphere; having the community becoming a GREAT part of the atmosphere, displaying their Artwork, sharing their gifts of Music and Song; and meeting a familiar or new friend. Growing the community, through the fellowship, one with another, building relationships that are needed, sharing the love God gives each one of us. DM

Integrating the Local Churches

• Finding out what local churches have to offer, with their Ministries and people. 
• Encourage, talk, listen and love people who are in need, and are seeking their way through this world.
• Help people to find a Church that fits their needs and desires.

I want to know what the local Churches have to offer in the way of Groups, Ministries, and personality, yes personality. When a Church is a Bible preaching, Christ based, loving Church, there is no reason why a person can't find a Church to connect with. Each of us needs a community to connect with, and I can not think of a better place that a Church. I know how our Church has impacted me and my family. Giving us help when we needed help; loving us when we needed love, and praying for us when we needed Prayer. DM

The Big Picture

• C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers wants to give back to the community. Helping the lost, hurting people of the community. Assisting them with money, and helping them discover a connection to a church body that can connect with them.
• Having benefits to help raise money to help others, as well as the “church ministries,” in the community.

I would like to have events where money can be raised to help those who are in need, whether they belong to a Church or not. There are people who are in need and do not anyone to turn to or help. This is where C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers can assist with collections at a collection container, or have a free concerto raise money for the people who are in need. DM 

The Bigger Picture

• Establishing other “C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers” in other communities.
• Uniting the body of churches, with a cohesive effort, that will benefit the community, in showing Gods Love with a Faith in action.

To have C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers established in other communities, planted there by a local Christian, who is concerned, and wants to show the community, a Love that serves with service to the community, actions working with in the community, talking to the patrons of C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers, establishing friendships. DM

What C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers has to offer.

• A friendly, enjoyable atmosphere.
• Local musicians, sharing their talents, of Music and Voice.
• Art work, to inspire the guests, and see the talents he has given to His people.
• Books, magazines, and other written media, to help each of us, in our walk.
• Great Coffee beverages and Great food.

This place spoke for it self, people who came in said how warm and inviting it was, and how they enjoyed the, food, drinks, and atmosphere of C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers. I believe God was please at what was offered here, and I GREATLY enjoyed my time there. It IS my hearts desire to have C.O.F.F.E.E. Lovers open again to serve the community, with service, actions and sometimes…words. DM

What I want to happen.

To be held accountable, for what is done with this business.
To serve God with ALL I have.
To see the “Lost” find their way, and “Grow God’s Kingdom.”
To see God’s love reach across the “Religious” boundaries, and unite in this “Vision.”
To see God’s love touch others.
To see God Glorified in “All that is done.”

As I have said earlier and DO believe with all my heart, what I was and am called to do here in this community. I believe that with what I have learned over the past years, that God has been growing me to do this. I want to be used by God and have a Ministry that will be self sufficient with the financial aspect, but help where and when needed, with a Loving, Serving, Caring, and Compassionate spirit.
